About Nexa Wealth
Financial planning for women and couples in Los Angeles, across California, and nationwide — built around the full complexity of a life that's already in motion.
Meet Renee
I'm Renee Cohen, CFP® — and I started Nexa Wealth because most financial planning wasn't built for the way my clients actually live.
A lot of the women and couples I work with have done the hard part. Income is strong, assets are growing, and they've been making thoughtful decisions for years. What's missing isn't effort — it's a structure that ties it all together.
Traditional wealth management tends to treat the portfolio as the whole story. I started Nexa Wealth on a different premise: that your investment accounts, retirement timeline, tax situation, equity compensation, and the big decisions coming up next are all connected — and that planning works best when it's built around the actual life you're living, not a generic version of it.
My approach brings retirement planning, investment strategy, tax coordination, estate planning, and career decisions into one framework. We talk through it the way you'd work through anything with someone who knows your full picture — directly, clearly, and in a way that makes sense for where you actually are.
Some Questions I Help You Answer
These are the questions that tend to stay in the back of your mind — not because you haven't thought about them, but because answering them well requires seeing how they connect.
Big‑Picture, Ongoing Life & Wealth Questions
Am I saving and investing enough to live the way I want later, without sacrificing more than I need to now?
How do the pieces — retirement accounts, equity comp, taxes, estate plans — actually fit together?
What needs to shift as my career, family, and priorities evolve?
Short‑Term, High‑Stakes Decision Question
Can I afford to make this move — buy the house, change jobs, start the business — right now?
What's the real tradeoff between paying down debt faster and investing more?
How do I make this decision with confidence, knowing I've thought it through completely?
“How Does It All Work Together?” Questions
Where should I focus first: retirement, investments, taxes, or cash flow?
What's in my current plan that I'm not seeing clearly yet?
How do I get retirement planning, investment strategy, cash flow, debt, taxes, risk, estate, and career decisions all moving in the same direction?

Where I Work With Clients
I'm based in the
South Bay of Los Angeles and work virtually with women and couples across Southern California, throughout California, and nationwide. Many of my clients are in Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach,
Westside LA,
Pasadena, and Irvine — though the work is the same regardless of where you are. What matters is having a planner who understands both the financial complexity and the life behind it.

One conversation is usually enough to know whether this is the right fit — and what working together would actually look like.
